Winco Ad

I have been asked how Winco's prices compare to those of other grocery stores. Honestly, I don't think it is much cheaper. What I don't like about them is there isn't a regular circular that comes every week to let us know what is on sale. Now that I have moved to the binder method that is less of an issue. I never enter a grocery store without it. But I like to be prepared with a list and my coordinating coupons. But I love when they send special coupons in the mail. AWESOME deals can be had then!! Also, though you will not see the on grocery smarts, they do take coupons and you can add them to the store coupons from the mail. This time, unfortunately there aren't any active coupons that correspond with the current add. However, remember that you can take your add to Wal-mart and they will price match it for you. You still have to stick to the quantities listed. Then you can go and redeem them at Winco as well. The deals are still great even without coupons.

Grand Opening

Macey's is having a grand opening at the Clinton store. The prices are effective at the Clearfield Macey's as well. Honestly, there are not that many amazing deals. As far as the case lot goes when you compare the Macey's and Smiths adds Smiths has the better prices, especially considering several are name brand vs. Western Family. But a few notable items. Along with my add today I received a small postcard flyer with a few extra coupons. One of those offers a free case of Top Ramen when you buy any two other case lot items. A few ideas: Sugar 12.99 for 25 lb bag 8 20 oz. pack Gatorade for 4.99 ea Also, their preparedness items are on sale. I personally need to get a few more 5 lb buckets. At 2.99 that is a good deal. They also offering a free promotional grocery item to the first 200 shoppers every day this week. So shop early. As part of their regular sale, 10 lb bag Idaho potatoes for $.88. Awesome! Happy hunting.

This morning when I went to Honk's (it's .88 cent Tuesday!), they had cookies similar to the picture above for only .25 cents! They are located up front by the first check-out lane, in a box on the floor. The expiration date in May 2011.
